MOMENTO

Momento is the first chapter of the larger choreographic project The Tale of the Unknown Island, freely inspired by José Saramago's novel. The creation is part of an artistic research path around the theme of memory, time, its flow and the emotional and social condition that this relationship triggers. This specific first chapter of study focuses its research on the relationship with the present time, on the suspended and uncertain condition that ferries our experiences and memories towards future desires and hopes to be fulfilled. What we are is the sum of all our experiences, events, lived emotions, the knowledge we have accumulated and the lessons we have or have not learned, it is a depth that dwells under the soles of our feet. Yet life is nothing more than an eternal present and existence is a thing of the instant: the Goethian Augenblick, the "moment" present in a thirsty search for meaning, in a metamorphic liquid space that is surface as far as our eyes they can see, as we float like islands on the past below us that is submerged under the sea of time.

Di sapore romantico, ispirato a “Il racconto dell’isola sconosciuta” di Josè Saramago, “Momento”, primo capitolo di una ricerca di Zerogrammi, coreografia di Stefano Mazzotta, in scena con Amina Amici, lascia intravedere un bisogno di legame, di tenerezza, colmo di pudore, reticenze, gesti che sfiorano, mani che si avvicinano. Totale l’accordo nella danza, morbida, delicata, passi comuni, una concordia profonda, un affiatamento nello stesso tempo evidente e segreto.
