ESTREMO REMOTO
THE ESTREMO REMOTO PROJECT _ LITTLE ARCHIVED DANCES.
Each archive action has to do with a chronological span that is expressed with "extreme remote" and "extreme recent". Arearea dancecompany from Udine and Zerogrammi dance company from Turin activate a choreographic research whose coordinates are concepts such as body/memory/archive/border. The project will connect contemporary dance with the stories hidden in the State Archives of Trieste and the Provincial Archives of Nova Gorica. Estremo Remoto is aimed at creating site-specific performances that offer the spectator a particular observation point on the unknown biographies of men and women who lived through the Paris Peace Treaty which came into force on 15 September 1947.
